7 Lights Travel is a husband-and-wife agency based in Elko, Nevada. We started in 2020 because we were already the people friends and family called before booking anything — the ones who'd spent hours comparing cruise cabins or tracking down the right neighborhood in Oaxaca. Turning that into a business just meant getting paid for something we were already doing for free.

**Meet Shannon**
Shannon runs the front of the business — she's the one you'll likely talk to first. Her background is in hospitality and specialty foods, and it shows in how she plans: she pays attention to the details that make a trip feel considered instead of just booked, from the right resort to the right table.

**Meet Tim**
Tim handles the logistics side — bookings, pricing, the operational details that keep a trip from falling apart when a flight gets cancelled at midnight. He's also the one who digs into the fine print so you don't have to.

**Why "7 Lights"**
Every trip needs a guide. The name is a nod to that — seven stars, a fixed point to navigate by. Cheesy on paper, but it's the idea behind how we work: point you in the right direction and stay with you until you get there.

**What you get that you don't get from a booking site**
We're not a call center — you work with the two of us, start to finish, not a rotating queue of reps. We travel to the places we sell, so recommendations come from experience, not a supplier brochure. And it costs you nothing extra: our commission comes from the travel suppliers, not your wallet.

**Right now**
We're especially into Mexico — Oaxaca in particular, one of the most underrated food and culture destinations out there. We're headed back in October. Ask us about it.
